Crippling fear of public speaking be damned—on the morning of my birthday, I set out to speak at a local high school.
My mission: To inform a group students & teachers (and my supportive honey!) about the path to publication.
The location: Cedarbridge Academy
The results: Podium and mic proved to be my kryptonite.
The important thing is that I got to connect with students who were interested in writing. The teachers invited me back to read a passage from HALLWAY DIARIES on a May 1st reading event. This could be the start of a great partnership. Here I am (in my birthday suit) with Cedarbridge educators Mrs Ming (left) and Mrs. Seymour.
A special thank you to Cedarbridge Academy for their fabulous hospitality. It was a pleasure meeting you!
